4 Steps to Pool Fence Compliance

How we can help you get your pool or spa compliant. We help you all the way through from booking your first inspection through to pool safety barrier installation.

Step 1

Register
  • All Pools & Spas are required to be registered with your local council by 1st June 2022
  • Council will determine date of construction
  • Council will provide you the pool owner with a letter outlining the applicable barrier standard

Step 2

Inspect
  • After registration, you are required to arrange for the barrier to be inspected
  • We can recommend a barrier inspector.
  • Inspection conducted in line with council requirements

The Cost Associated with Pool Inspections

1. Free Advisory Inspection
2. $385 inc. for a full inspection & sign-off.

Step 3

Comply
  • A full written report is provided detailing what can be done to get compliance.
  • Our expert team will install a new pool safety barrier or rectify your existing pool fence.
  • You required to get a building permit for structural changes (we can help with this)

Step 4

Lodge
  • We ensure your pool fence is up to compliant standards
  • A certificate of compliance form (form 23) is issued by a 3rd party barrier inspector
  • The pool owner must lodge the certificate within 30 days with local counci
